On December 2, the Gostiny Dvor housed the awarding ceremony for winners of the 2008 Company of the Year Prize, the national award in business. The Prize had been established by RBC Group.
VVC was pronounced the 2008 winner in the nomination “Sectoral Development Contribution” (in exhibition business).

The Company of the Year Prize is rightfully regarded as one of the most significant social awards. It confirms stability of the company, efficiency of its marketing strategy, immensity and criticality of its projects.

Among the accomplishments of the All-Russia Exhibition Center in 2008 a pointed reference can be made to its results in the exhibition infrastructure development (commissioning of the first pavilion of the largest in Eastern Europe exhibition complex on VVC premises) and proactive foreign activity (successful Russian national exhibitions in India and Bulgaria creating a positive image and investment attractiveness of Russia abroad).

Mohamed Musayev emphasized that economic crises come and go but the reputation of such national brands as VVC in the global competition environment becomes an increasingly critical and tangible factor. “We are quite happy that the efforts of VVC as a leading exhibition center and national operator have been adequately estimated by the organizing committee of such prestigious prize”.

M.Musayev invited the winners and guests of the ceremony to visit the exhibitions and events organized at VVC.
